Bottomless brunch arrives in Leigh-on-Sea with DJs, samba shows & Mediterranean feasting

One of Leigh-on-Sea’s most talked-about restaurants is raising the bar for weekend dining. The Med – a vibrant Mediterranean eatery on Eastwood Road North – has announced the launch of its long-awaited bottomless brunches, kicking off in April and running every Saturday.

Following a successful first year, The Med is now introducing an energetic brunch experience that combines Mediterranean-inspired sharing plates with free-flowing drinks, live DJs, and dazzling samba dancers.

Known for its colourful atmosphere and lively evenings, The Med burst onto the local food scene last summer, quickly building a loyal following with its eclectic mix of Mediterranean cuisine, bold cocktails, and immersive entertainment.

Guests regularly enjoy DJs spinning everything from Afrobeats and Dancehall to Old School RnB and Amapiano, often accompanied by choreographed performances from samba dancers – and now, that same buzz is coming to your Saturday afternoons.

The sharing plates that are served at these bottomless brunches look delicious!

The owners of the restaurant said the brunch concept had been in the works for some time: “We’ve had customers of all ages coming in who tell us they love the food and the service, but they wanted us to offer an unlimited brunch option.”

Starting every Saturday in April from 2pm to 4pm, the brunches will feature two hours of unlimited drinks and a buffet-style spread of Mediterranean small plates to share. Guests can choose from three drinks packages to suit their style:

  • £45 for bottomless beer
  • £55 for bottomless Prosecco
  • £65 for bottomless cocktails, with options like pornstar martinis, lychee martinis, piña coladas, strawberry daiquiris, rum punch, and sex on the beach.

A live DJ will provide the soundtrack to the afternoon from 2pm to 5pm, creating a seamless transition from relaxed daytime dining to early evening vibes. The samba dancers, a favourite part of The Med’s evening entertainment, will also be making appearances during the brunch, bringing even more energy to the event.

Inspired by the owner’s own upbringing surrounded by Turkish and Greek cuisine, The Med’s menu blends dishes from across the Mediterranean, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available.

The restaurant has quickly become a go-to venue in Leigh, with regular customers praising the warm welcome and fun, sociable atmosphere.

The Med’s bottomless brunch is available every Saturday in April – on the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th – at 285-291 Eastwood Road North, SS9 4LT. Tables are expected to book up fast. For more details and to reserve your spot, visit www.themedrestaurant.co.uk.
