New Southend seafront Premier Inn to open early 2015

A brand new Premier Inn hotel is getting ready to open on Southend seafront.

The new hotel being built on Eastern Esplanade is an investment of over £1.5 million in Southend and will generate 22 new jobs. Premier Inn say they will be working with the Jobcentre to help those looking for new potential jobs in hospitality.

The new 81 bedroom hotel is planned to open on the 23rd February 2015.

Situated in a prime location along Southend seafront, the new Premier Inn is a mile away from all the main attractions and High Street that tourists come to the area for.

The hotel also includes an on-site Brewers Faye Restaurant, offering a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu for guests at reasonable prices.

Yvonne Magee, Premier Inn Cluster General Manager, said: “At Premier Inn we want to be able to offer our customers value for money wherever they plan on staying, even at a prime location like Eastern Esplanade on Southend seafront. The hotel offers customers an abundance of shops and restaurants along with Southend’s main attractions just a short walk away.”

Each bedroom will cater for up to two adults and two children and includes an en-suite bathroom; a king size bed; TV with Freeview; tea/coffee making facilities, and a spacious desk area with WiFi Internet access. The hotel will also offer breakfast in the on-site Brewers Fayre restaurant.

With over 670 hotels nationwide, Premier Inn is at more locations than any other hotel chain in the UK with rooms starting at £35 for a family room.
