More easyJet routes from Southend Airport revealed: full flight times and destinations

London Southend Airport will have even more exciting routes on offer, with easyJet announcing three new destinations this morning, that are set to delight Essex travellers.

The airline will soon offer direct flights from Southend to Barcelona, Salzburg, and Lanzarote, giving holidaymakers and business travellers more options right on their doorstep.

easyJet has also announced that it will be extending 10 existing summer routes to operate throughout the winter. Flights to Gran Canaria, Enfidha, Malta, Faro, Antalya, Tenerife, Marrakech, Malaga and Palma will now operate all year round, available to book with easyJet holidays.

New destinations take off from London Southend

The newly revealed routes will launch between October and December 2025, with flights scheduled on key travel days to suit both short breaks and longer getaways.

London Southend to Barcelona – from 26 October 2025

  • Thursdays: EZY5715 – Depart Southend 06:30, arrive Barcelona 10:25
  • Sundays: EZY5715 – Depart Southend 07:15, arrive Barcelona 11:10
  • Return flights:
    • Thursdays: EZY5716 – Depart Barcelona 11:00, arrive Southend 13:05
    • Sundays: EZY5716 – Depart Barcelona 11:45, arrive Southend 13:50

London Southend to SalzburgSeasonal winter service from 6 December 2025

  • Saturdays: EZY5723 – Depart Southend 07:05, arrive Salzburg 10:05
  • Return: EZY5724 – Depart Salzburg 10:50, arrive Southend 12:00

London Southend to LanzaroteSeasonal winter service from 27 October 2025

  • Mondays & Wednesdays: EZY5701 – Depart Southend 07:15, arrive Lanzarote 11:30

  • Return flights:

Essex residents call for more destinations

While the new routes have been met with excitement, travellers are eager for even more options from their nearest airport.

Andy Skinner shared his wish list, saying he’d love flights to Gibraltar, Berlin, Luxembourg, Dublin, Norway, and Sweden. Meanwhile, Diane Jones is hoping for the return of flights to Jersey, noting: “So many people are asking for this to come back!”

The addition of these new easyJet routes suggests a growing demand for travel from Southend, which is known for its hassle-free experience and quick access from central London via direct train links.
