Thousands of people have packed onto Southend seafront for tonight’s Halloween Parade and firework display!

The second annual event took place on Saturday 29th October 2022, beginning at 6pm and finishing at 7:30pm with a fireworks finale!

Nearly all city centre and seafront car parks became completely full prior to the event starting, causing traffic around the city centre area to become gridlocked in some places.

The following Southend car parks were full by 5.30pm:

  • The Royals Carpark
  • Seaway Carpark
  • Fairheads Green Carpark
  • Clarence Road Carpark
  • Warrior Square Carpark
  • Tylers Avenue Carpark
  • York Road Carpark
